Your journey starts with a care consultation, a relaxed, no-pressure chat with one of our Family Care Advisors, who'll take the time to understand your situation, answer your questions, and help you make sense of what live-in care involves. From there, one of our care managers carries out a no-obligation care assessment. This is where we really get to know the person who'll be receiving care: what they're hoping to achieve, what matters to them day to day, and what good care looks like for them. We'll also make sure the home is a safe and suitable place for care, and put together a digital care plan that captures everyone's goals. Step 2: Matching your care team

This is the part families often care about most, and rightly so. A live-in carer becomes part of daily life, so the right match makes all the difference.

When you're ready, we'll send you a tailored list of potential carers. Behind the scenes, we use smart technology to select carers based on their experience, their interests and their location, so the people we suggest are a genuine fit, not just whoever happens to be available. Each carer comes with their own digital CV, so you can see their care experience, their training, a little about who they are, and what they enjoy. It helps you picture the person, not just the professional.

Step 3: Carer introduction

Here's something that sets us apart. Rather than have a carer simply turn up on day one as a stranger, we arrange introductory calls between you and your potential carer first, so you can get to know each other a little before any care begins.

It's a small thing that makes a big difference. It means that when care starts, it starts on a foundation of familiarity and trust, rather than first-day nerves. We believe finding the right match matters too much to leave to chance.

Step 4: Your carer arrives

Once you've found the right person, we handle the practical details so you don't have to. We'll arrange travel with your carer, who'll arrive having already read your care plan and understood your needs, so they can settle in and get started with confidence.

And you won't be left wondering how it's going. Your Family Care Coordinator will follow up that very same day to check that everything is in order and everyone feels comfortable.

For every client, we allocate two carers: a primary carer and a respite carer, who work in tandem to give you and your family the reliability you deserve. Sometimes, a client is assigned more than one respite carer: it also means care never depends on a single person being available without a break.

Because our carers, wonderful as they are, are human too. As well as taking around two hours of breaks at suitable points in the day, your primary live-in carer needs proper time off to rest and recharge, which is exactly where their respite carer steps in.
